When conservative soldier Wilkins meets Johnson, a loud and outspoken journalist from San Antonio, she’s in for a shock. Wilkins, a quiet, rule-bound military woman, is the exact opposite of the brash and charming Johnson. Despite their stark differences, Johnson—best friends with Wilkins’ superior, Tech Sergeant Ian Morris—soon finds herself falling head over heels for the modest sergeant.
Wilkins, determined to maintain her reputation and position in the Air Force, tries to push Johnson away, knowing that giving in to the attraction could jeopardize her career. But everything changes when Johnson is assigned to cover an undercover story about life as an Air Force trainee, forcing her to live in the dormitories and interact with the recruits—including Wilkins.
